In the past, there were quite a lot of succesful actors and actresses who made their first appearance in the show 'Saturday night Live'. Chevy Chase is one of them and surely one of the best known. By the way, it was his waggish grandmother who gave him the nickname' Chevy'... While he was studying at the Bard College and the Columbia University, it was pretty clear that he really was a joker, as he appeared in several tv-shows on local tv-stations, helped with this by Ken Shapiro.
